Confusion, confusion, confusion!!!
I’m sure that almost every one of you has asked yourselves, “how to find passion in life?” or “what kind of job is right for me?”
Hmmm… Let me tell you one thing. I’ve walked a mile in your shoes. I’ve spent a great deal of my life doing what others expected me to do. I’ve prioritized societies and people over my contentment. But for some reasons, I always felt a bit deserted and out-of-the-way. I always kept wondering, “what kind of job is right for me?”
As a final point, I decided to follow my dreams. I decided to switch my career profile, and started to make every effort to become a writer. It’s been a long time now. And while there have been a lot of bangs and blows along the way, now, I say with assurance that I love what I do.
This step forward was enriching and revitalizing for me. So yes, I do believe what we do in our lives are our passion and purpose. I think that you should never forget to follow your dreams! When your dream breathes its last, you lose a bit of love, you lose a bit of strength, and you lose that zeal in your eye. So, don’t ever let your dream die. It’s time to follow your dreams and restore your thoughts, your goals, and your life.

So, I’d like to begin by drawing a line for you:
“While you know how to find your purpose and passion in life, your habits like putting off the work fade away.”
That’s for you’re in LOVE! That’s because you love what you do! That’s because you’re obsessive about your work. At that point, you’re more successful as your job is not a routine for you anymore, so you’re all set to pour in your energy and sweat to it.
Finally, I could find my passion —and I’m thankful for that. But it is just the beginning of learning how to find your passion and make it your career.

Relax and grab some moments to sit in a quiet place and think about what brings you happiness in your life. Don’t think about ‘that one joyful thing that brings pleasure in your life.’ In its place, make a list of everything — no matter what you delight in.
Do you love drawing or painting? Do you like cooking? Or are you passionate about taking photographs of the picturesque backdrop?
Think about it!
- What are you unceasingly curious about?
- What zones do you find yourself falling towards?
- What undertakings make you lose your track of hours and spans?

How to find your passion and purpose? Well, ask these questions to yourself:
- What inspires you?
- What encourages you?
- What do you feel most honoured of?
What is that one thing you could do for hours, and days and weeks and months without getting drained? Remember, no one would ever know this side of you but you. The solution might be less important than the power and intensity of the answer. But it all matters!
- Take your time and imagine what would “an ideal day for you” look like?
- Picture what it would feel like to live this “ideal day” more often than not.
- Imagine does that one job makes you feel at ease, pleased and content with your life.
